2010 Recognition For the seventh year in a row, Covenant Health was named the Best Hospital in Lubbock in the 2010 Lubbock Avalanche-Journal Reader's Choice Awards. For the second year, Covenant Health was given a Best Workplace award by the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. This award is based on nominations from Covenant employees. In September, Covenant Health (CHS) was the first in the region to earn the Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission for Primary Stroke Centers. Covenant Health was recently named on a list of the 100 Best Places to Work in Health Care by Becker's Hospital Review. The 2010 list was determined through nominations and research.
