Covenant Health Receives Avatar Annual Awards

Avatar Solutions (formerly Avatar International LLC and HR Solutions International Inc.), a leading provider of patient, CAHPS, employee and physician surveys based in Lake Mary, Fla., recently announced its 2012 award-winning hospital partners. Acknowledging consistently high standards of patient care, Covenant Health is being awarded the following honors.

Avatar Solutions' awards are meant to honor significant accomplishments in patient satisfaction and innovation in health care settings.

About the Awards

'Exceeding Patient Expectations' is awarded to the facilities whose overall score exceeds expectations for whichever patient types they are currently surveying. The 'Innovation Award' is based on the following criteria: degree of actual improvement, scope of change, degree of innovation, ability to spread idea externally and nature of barriers they had to overcome. 'Innovation Awards' are given at the gold, silver, and bronze levels. The 'HCAHPS Most Improved Award' is awarded to the facility that demonstrated the most improvement for each HCAHPS composite, in each bed size category. All hospitals who administered the HCAHPS survey for 24 consecutive months, through December of the prior year, were eligible for the award.
