Education. Advocacy. Support. The 30 dedicated people who serve on the Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center (JACC) Development Board are the public face of Covenant’s cancer research program.
Board members work tirelessly behind the scenes to improve patient care and find sponsorship for events and research efforts, including:
Chorus of Angels cookbook —Proceeds benefit the Chorus of Angels fund, which provides financial assistance to qualified JACC patients.
Speakers bureau —Education committee members give presentations at local civic events about the services offered at JACC.
Look Good…Feel Good —Board members provide consultations on wig fittings, cosmetic consultations and other beauty aids.
Patient satisfaction —Avenues of communication between patients and JACC staff help keep Covenant Health System’s cancer treatment quality high.
