What is Covenant Health Foundation?

Covenant Health Foundation (CHF) is a branch of Covenant Health that raises funds for Covenant programs, equipment and capital projects. CHF’s goals are to increase awareness and education, increase funding, and promote the mission of Covenant Health within the community.

Is Covenant Health Foundation a not-for-profit organization?

Yes. All funds raised by Covenant Health Foundation directly benefit Covenant and remain in the West Texas and eastern New Mexico region. The IRS has approved the CHF’s 501(c)(3) status and acknowledges our not-for-profit status.

How does Covenant Health Foundation raise funds for Covenant Health programs?

Covenant Health Foundation uses many venues for raising money to be distributed throughout Covenant Health for programs or projects, including:

  1. Individual and Corporate Gifts – Covenant Health Foundation solicits gifts from businesses, and members of the community, such as grateful patients
  2. Grants - Covenant Health Foundation has a grant specialist who submits proposals for local, state and national grants. Every year, our grants provide funding for numerous projects and services at Covenant Health.
  3. Covenant Cares –Covenant Health Foundation leads the effort of the employee giving campaign that is employee-funded, employee-administered and employee-distributed. Click here to read more about Covenant Cares.
  4. Special Events – Covenant Health Foundation hosts several annual events including Gala, Storytellers, Mayors’ Beans & Cornbread Luncheon and a house concert.

How can I become involved with Covenant Health Foundation?

Become a volunteer for one of our development boards, help with special events or make a donation. We are eager to discuss these opportunities with you, so please give us a call at (806) 725-6089.

How can I donate to Covenant Health?

To make a donation, click here. We welcome most material donations as well, but due to infection control, all material donations must be new items. Those include items such as: DVDs, sample size toiletries, Xbox games, toys, coloring books and pencils/crayons (adult and children), bedside mobiles and aquariums, craft sets, children’s underwear and children’s athletic shorts.
