People of all ages are discovering that the Covenant LifeStyle Centre can help them stay physically fit and healthy. Originally designed to provide therapies for people with heart disease and other conditions, the LifeStyle Centre is also a tremendous wellness resource in our community.

This 30,000-square-foot facility offers a wide range of fitness equipment and class space. Highlights include:

• 9,000 square feet of exercise area
• 71 pieces of aerobic equipment
• Group fitness classes
• 2 racquetball courts
• Indoor swimming pool
• Lap swimming
• Dry sauna
• Indoor walking track
• Outdoor track (1/5 of a mile)

The LifeStyle Centre staff includes highly trained exercise specialists, cardiac rehab specialists and an outpatient dietitian. They work together to design programs that meet the needs of each individual patient.

Other Programs

The Covenant LifeStyle Centre is home to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, designed for men and women of all ages who are recovering from a heart attack, heart surgery or cardiovascular disease.

It also hosts the Orthopedic Reconditioning Program, a sports medicine program that benefits post-rehabilitation patients who seek to continue building strength and conditioning.

Internship Opportunities

The Covenant LifeStyle Centre internship program offers positions in the spring, summer, and fall. Our goal is to provide a unique internship experience that will prepare students for a career in the fitness and wellness industry.

• Senior level student/Graduate student
• All degree requirements completed for undergraduate students
• CPR certified
• Proof of Professional Liability insurance (not auto insurance)
