Community Benefits
Part of our mission at Covenant Health system is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to quality health care. To make this happen, we are committed to both monetary and service-related donations.
For the Fiscal Year 2011, Covenant Health system (including Plainview and Levelland) donated a total of $71,701,677 in community benefits. Of that dollar amount, the entities in Lubbock donated
$63,865,421 in community benefits. Covenant Health System (including Plainview and Levelland) gave a total of
$32,891,180 in traditional charity care. The entities in Lubbock gave an additional
$30,868,000 in health care services at a reduced charge to patients (unpaid costs of state and local programs).
