Covenant Health System believes that affordable health coverage is every person’s right. To make that possible, we offer a variety of health plans to organizations and individuals throughout North, Central and West Texas through FirstCare, owned and operated by Covenant Health System and Hendrick Health System in Abilene.

FirstCare began as a health maintenance organization (HMO) in 1985. Since then, it has expanded its roster of products to include preferred provider organizations (PPOs) and Health Savings Accounts. Coverage is available for individuals, businesses and Medicare and Medicaid recipients.
