Covenant Foundation

The Covenant Foundation is a not-for-profit branch of Covenant Health System dedicated to enhancing the strength of our system with new health programs and capital projects. We receive funding for these initiatives through a variety of programs:

Covenant Cares—Employee Giving Campaign
Covenant employees lead the way in our annual fundraising efforts. In 2005, employees pledged nearly half a million dollars. Their contributions fund a variety of projects, from the School of Nursing to Community Outreach. This truly is commitment that goes above and beyond.

Friends of Nursing/Friends of Allied Health Funds
These two funds provide continuing education scholarships for working nurses and allied health personnel, providing registration fees, travel expenses, fees for certification and re-certification.

Special Events
The Covenant Foundation hosts annual events benefiting the Covenant Heart & Vascular Institute, Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center and the Covenant Children’s Hospital.

Grants
Every year, local, state and national grants contribute nearly half of our annual funds.

Impact Covenant – Annual Giving Campaign
This special program is designed to bring corporations and individuals together to see the difference their gifts make in the lives of our patients and their families. Several levels of giving are available.

The Covenant Foundation is qualified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a tax-exempt organization. The IRS has approved the Covenant Foundation’s 501(c)(3) status and acknowledged our not-for-profit status.
