Covenant Health System’s 24-month radiologic technology program at Covenant Medical Center leads to eligibility for the certification examination given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART). The program includes academic and clinical education at the Covenant Medical Center campus as well as at five affiliates, including:
- Lubbock Radiology Associates
- HealthPlus
- The Medical Office Building
- Lubbock Diagnostic Clinic
- Covenant Hospital Levelland
With additional training and experience, a radiographer can pursue other areas of radiology, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiation therapy, interventional radiography and nuclear medicine.
The Covenant School of Radiology is accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education Accreditation, the Joint Review Committee, Texas Hospital Association Health Careers, American Medical Association, American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the Texas Education Agency and the United States Department of Education.
