The outlook has never been brighter for nursing professionals. In fact, the demand for registered nurses is projected to result in the creation of the second-largest number of jobs among all occupations! 

The pay schedule for nurses varies according to region, but nationwide, the median annual income for registered nurses in 2004 was $52,330, with salaries ranging from $37,000 to $75,000.

Three out of five nurses work in hospitals, although many others also work in physician offices, nursing care facilities, home health care services, employment services, government agencies and outpatient care centers. Students even attracted to a career as an educator, will find a warm ‘Welcome’.  Most facilities require a BSN at least, and many require a Master’s, explore your options!
