Covenant Health System’s mission is to extend Christian ministry by caring for the whole person—body, mind and spirit. In addition, our every action should abide by our Code of Ethics.

After all, as advances in medicine help physicians restore health and prolong life even in the gravest of circumstances, it is more important than ever for health care organizations like ours to be mindful of the ethical dilemmas that can arise during treatment. Our Department of Spiritual Care has worked with caregivers to develop a framework for helping patients and their families find solutions that are in accordance with their own ethical, moral and religious beliefs.
