Covenant Honored by Workforce of the South Plains

Covenant Health System was honored yesterday by the Workforce of the South Plains with the Current Workforce Award. The award honors an employer whose efforts and initiatives had a positive effect on current workers, resulting in benefits to employers and the community. Covenant was credited for training and hiring low-income individuals and moving them off welfare to work. Congratulations to Amy Richmond, Pamela Holmes and Admitting staff!

Covenant Child Development Center was given the Exemplary Child Care Provider Award for its efforts in early childhood education. The award recognizes innovative approaches to recruiting, training, retention, upgrading worker skills, job redesign, child care services, developmental of successful early childhood education strategies, the use of technology, community involvement and collaboration. Congratulations to Marge Hopper and CCDC staff!
