Heart Failure Accreditation
Hobbs Hospital is proud to be the first accredited Heart Failure Center
in the state of New Mexico. This accreditation, given by the Society for
Cardiovascular Patient Care. This accreditation means that Hobbs Hospital
has met national best practices for the care of Heart Failure patients.
Chest Pain Center Accreditation
Hobbs Hospital is Lea County’s first and only Accredited Chest Pain
Center, and one of only six in the state of New Mexico. This designation,
given by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC), means that
Hobbs Hospital has demonstrated expertise in cardiac patient care as measured
by a wide range of stringent criteria. This level of cardiac care is achieved

Joint Commission Hospital Accreditation
Hobbs Hospital is proud to be the area's only Joint Commission accredited
hospital. Accreditation from the Joint Commission is truly the gold seal
of approval that reflects our commitment to quality and providing safe
and effective patient care.
Joint Commission Laboratory Accreditation
Hobbs Hospital's laboratory is independently accredited by the Joint
Commission. This rigorous process ensures that our lab is committed to
meeting national best practices.
Primary Stroke Center Gold Seal™ Designation
When you experience symptoms of a stroke, get to Hobbs Hospital. We are
certified by The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. That's
important, because these accredited stroke centers have demonstrated expertise
in the early assessment, rapid diagnosis and treatment of stroke emergencies
according to The Joint Commission.
