No one looks forward to a hospital stay, but at Hobbs Hospital, we work
hard to make sure your visit is as pleasant as possible. Here are a few
things you should know about your room and our hospital in general that
can help make your time with us restful and healing.
Smoking: Hobbs Hospital is a tobacco-free campus. The use of any type of
tobacco product is prohibited on all hospital and clinic grounds, both
inside and outside. Hospital patients may request nicotine replacement
options. Visitors are asked to refrain from smoking until leaving hospital
property. Free nicotine replacement options are available through the
state of New Mexico by visiting

Valuables: Patients should leave all valuables and personal items at home.
The hospital will not be liable or held responsible for the loss or damage
of personal items, including dentures, eyeglasses, contacts, etc. that
the patient keeps in his/her possession. Upon request, patients may deposit
valuables in the hospital safe until they can be taken home. Upon discharge,
please ask your nurse for help retrieving any valuables you may have placed
in the safe.
