Volunteer Services
Covenant Health is a non-profit ministry that is dedicated to caring for
all individuals body, mind and spirit. By volunteering your time and energy
to Covenant Health, you will become an integral part of making a difference
in the lives of our patients, families and visitors. Our Covenant Volunteer
Program is made up of caring, compassionate people who are devoted to
helping others and to helping us fulfill our Christian mission of healing.
The volunteers at Covenant Medical Center, Covenant Children’s,
Covenant Joe Arrington Cancer Center, Covenant Surgicenter, and more go
wherever help is needed. Hospital volunteers bring kindness to patients,
families and employees with their cheerful dispositions and helpful attitudes.
Please find more information regarding the types of volunteer opportunities
we have under "Volunteer Opportunities."
Covenant Health offers non-paid internship experiences for college level
students of all backgrounds. These opportunities are rich in experience
and allow for hands-on learning. If you are looking for a career in any
aspect of healthcare administration, or want to gain experience at the
bedside of patients before applying for nursing or medical school, we’ve
got a place for you.
Detailed information regarding the program and how to apply can be found
in the Student Intern Application.

Observation is open to students who are 16 years of age and older. For
students under the age of 18, you will be asked to submit a letter of
recommendation and a signature from a parent.
