Dr. Gabriel Axelrud is a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist, Medical Director of Radiation Oncology, and Chairman of the Cancer Committee at Covenant Health's Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center. Dr. Axelrud also serves as Co-Chairman of the Providence Cancer and Digestive Health Institute Radiation Oncology Clinical Specialty Committee. Dr. Axelrud's areas of expertise include Gamma Knife Icon and LINAC-based Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) / Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT), High-Dose Rate Brachytherapy (HDR), EBRT and SAVI-based Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation (APBI), and Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) / Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (Lutathera, Pluvicto, Xofigo, I-131).
