Dr. Culley Christensen is a well-seasoned board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon
who brings to the table a vast wealth of orthopedic expertise derived from
almost four decades of orthopedic practice. Dr. Culley’s orthopedic experience
covers the entire gamut of musculoskeletal disorders, both non-surgical and
surgical, with the staples being elective arthroscopic and joint reconstructive
procedures including total hips and knees.
Dr. Culley has over 40 years of trauma experience including 15 years of level one
trauma call. Dr. Culley also has a wealth of pediatric experience, encompassing
traumatic injuries as well as birth and developmental disorders (both surgical
Dr. Culley has augmented his practice in sports medicine to reflect recent
advances in biologics and regenerative medicine. He believes biologics will
become an increasingly important part of our treatment philosophy.
In his past, Dr. Culley has developed a physical therapy and rehabilitation center,
an osteoporosis center, built a full-service imaging center that housed two MRI
scanners, a CT scanner, mammography, fluoroscopy and ultrasonography; and
was also a founding member of an outpatient surgery center.
When Dr. Culley is not helping patients with their orthopedic needs, he and his
wife are highly involved with community integration and philanthropic support.
They are steadfast supporters of the American Heart Association., Arizona
Kidney foundation where his wife, Jane, serves as an emirates board member,
and Southwest Autism Resource and Research Center where they have been
keynote speakers at annual events and served successfully on a $10,000,000
