Feist is a pediatrician at Covenant Women’s and Children’s specializing in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and Texas Tech School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he served as chief resident and was awarded the Outstanding Resident of the Year by the Department of Pediatrics. After completing residency, Dr. Feist completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He also completed a faculty development fellowship at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., through the Office of Medical Education, Research and Development with an emphasis on curriculum development and resident education. Dr. Feist is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN). He has served on the training committee and the professional education committee for NASPGHAN and serves as a content expert for the American Academy of Pediatrics on their eQIPP online module on gastroesophageal reflux in children.
