Physician Bio

Marc J. Levine, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a graduate of Stanford University and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and his cardiology fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Hospital. He remained on the faculty at Harvard Medical School before coming to Lubbock in 1991.

Dr. Levine has been practicing since 1986, the last 26 years in Lubbock, Texas at Covenant Medical Center, selected as highest-ranked in the region and ranked in the top 20 best hospitals in the state of Texas. Dr. Levine’s clinical interests include interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease and interventions, carotid artery stenting, as well as percutaneous aortic valve replacement.

Dr. Levine is the Medical Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Cardiac Imaging at Covenant Medical Center and is proud to be a part of Covenant Cardiology Associates.

Dr. Levine is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with subspecialties in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Levine is an avid bridge and chess player and enjoys flying airplanes with his wife, two sons, and dogs.
