Virtual Visits

In these uncertain times, we’re making it easy and safe to talk to
your primary or specialty health care provider from your home using Zoom
technology on your smart phone, tablet or computer. If you prefer or need
to talk to your provider by phone, this is an option as well.
- A virtual visit allows you and your provider to connect via your electronic
device or phone without going to a clinic for an appointment.
- During your consultation, your provider can talk to you about your health
concerns, work on a care plan, and if needed, provide a prescription order
while you remain safe in your home.
- A virtual visit is the same cost as your standard co-pay visit.
How to Schedule
Call your primary or specialty health care provider to schedule a virtual visit.
On the day of your virtual visit, a caregiver from your doctor’s
office will call you 15-20 minutes before your appointment to provide
a Zoom meeting ID that will be required to join the meeting.
Looking for a physician?
Before your visit
What you’ll need before your virtual visit:
- A stable internet connection.
-
Your mobile device camera and microphone/speakers.
(The camera is built-in. You can either use the built-in microphone and
speakers, or plug in your earbuds or headphones.)
- If you use a desktop computer or laptop (Windows or Mac), you’ll
need a built-in camera and microphone/speakers. You can also use an external
camera plugin, and headphones.
-
You will need to download the free Zoom app onto your device of choice.
Pro tip: We suggest you
test the technology the day before your visit.

Enhanced security measures include encryption, meeting IDs and visit “verification”
to ensure your virtual visit is private and secure. Providers are assigned
unique passwords and waiting rooms. This ensures that only your provider
and you will be admitted to your visit. Our Information Security team
regularly monitors Zoom for any security concerns that might arise.

Conditions Treated
It's amazing what we can diagnose with our secure video technology. Here's
a snapshot of some conditions we treat and services we offer. We can also
provide ongoing management of chronic conditions such as hypertension,
diabetes, high cholesterol, mental health issues and more. If you do not
find your condition, please call your provider's office for assistance.
Your provider will evaluate all needs on a case by case basis and some
issues may still require an in person visit in one of our clinics.
