My mom was extremely ill the last 3 months of her life. She was admitted twice to Covenant with seizures, once in April, and then again in on June 10 when she had a seizure with stroke-like symptoms. The entire time she was there, the staff was caring and helpful. My husband was in Kenya at the time, and my brother had to go to Mississippi shortly after she was admitted, so I was so grateful to the nurses and staff of the hospital, especially the heart hospital and CICU. They gave me their opinion of what would be best for her, but they allowed me to decide what to do. The last day, when it became clear that she was not going to recover, they were so gracious to stop the tests and extra procedures the moment I asked them to. When she passed away, the nurses and chaplain were there to comfort and pray with me in the middle of the night. I could not have asked for better care for my mom or for me. I'm so glad we were there.
